A Story Reclaimed. A Legacy, Looped.

The New York Times Critic's Pick hailed as “an electrifying theatrical experience,” MEXODUS is now “the season’s first must-see musical!” (The Wrap).
Created and performed by Brian Quijada and Nygel D. Robinson, and directed by David Mendizábal, this live-looping hip-hop musical takes audiences on an untold journey of the Underground Railroad heading south to Mexico—but with sick beats.
Called “thrilling” by The Washington Post and “genius in motion” by the San Francisco Chronicle, MEXODUS fuses bold storytelling, inventive music, and live looping into a theatrical journey like none other.
